Elmer Day 2024

Dear parents/carers,

Over the next few weeks as part of our topic ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ the children in Barlow and Beesley Class will be looking at the stories of Elmer. As the official Elmer Day is on Saturday 25^th May we are having our own Elmer Day celebration on Friday 24^th May 2024. During this day we ask that children come to school dressed in any colour they choose for a voluntary contribution of £1 (please pay via parent pay). Throughout the day the children will be taking part in a range of different ‘Elmer’ themed activities and is a chance to celebrate the importance of friendship, kindness and inclusivity, themes that run through all 30 of the Elmer picture books created by David McKee.
