• Daily Reading - We ask that you listen to your child read for 15 minutes each day using their home reading books. Your child will bring home 2 home readers each week to practise and develop their phonics skills and help them to become more fluent with their reading
• Key Word Grids - In the Spring Term your child will begin bringing home key word grids to learn, please spend 5 minutes each time you listen to your child read just reviewing these words. These grids will be monitored in school and as your child is able to read the key words they will be sent a new grid home to practise
