A rockin' experiment!

Class: Marsden - Year 3 Year: 2024 - 2025

In Science, Marsden class have been learning all about rocks! We conducted an experiment into the properties of rocks, where we tested:

• How hard the rocks are
• Whether they absorbed water
• Whether they fizzed when coming into contact with an acidic substance 
• We also observed them closely 

We then considered what the results meant, in relation to whether the rocks were Sedimentary, Metamorphic or Igneous.
