The children have taken parts in lots of different activities in the continuous provision throughout the week such as observational drawings of penguins, played feed the penguin subitising game, penguin bingo and created finger printed penguins. They have also been exploring moving like a penguin whilst learning new vocabulary such as 'tobogganing' and 'waddling'

In Drawing Club this week the children have been looking at the book Penguin by Polly Dunbar. The children have been trying to create a special hiding place for the penguin and Ben to keep them safe from the lion.
